“I have been a hairdresser for 12 years and to be completely honest I didn’t really know what I wanted to do. I started working in my mums friends hair salon after school and weekends when I was 15 and it was then that I fell in love with the industry, I found it so interesting and creative. I also loved the independence it gave me at that age.  

I love the personalities I get to meet through cutting hair, no day is ever the same; it’s never boring day. In particular, I really enjoy the hair textures I get to work with and I am always planning the next step of the my clients hair journey. It’s the smile clients leave with makes me realise why I love my job and I also love being part of a creative team and the salon environment.

I have a passion for hair that is easy to wear and doesn’t require huge amounts of styling day to day. Anything from a curly shag to a sexy wispy Wolf cut! I would consider myself a bit of an all rounder. I also love colour and creating anything between a lived in blonde/bronde/brunette that still looks good after months of grow out, to a more creative bold placements of hair colour. I work with a lot of curlies maybe because I am one myself!

The type of clients that should visit me are those who would like to get the most out their natural hair texture, your hair be made easy to style and maintain and have lolsss every session :)

I would really LOVE to give Britney spears a hair makeover, and Amy Winehouse would have been a dream to create a hairstyle for; I loved her personality and style.

I think the most important advice I can replay to my clients is that a good hair care routine at home is the most important thing. If we need hair products to create and look after your hair then so do you. It’s also very important  to commit to come to the salon to upkeep your hair cut or hair colour.”
