If you fancy a quick and temporary colour change to your blonde hair but don't have the time to visit us, stylist Sophie has a quick solution...

"The Davines Alchemic conditioner can also be used as a temporary colour you can do yourself at home. This highly pigmented conditioner adds a peachy-pinky hue when used on lightened or blonde hair. See my easy to follow steps below..."

1. Wash the hair twice with Davines SOLU shampoo (£13.45) to remove any product build up.

2. Apply the Davines Alchemic Conditioner from roots to ends (if applying as an all over colour) and it's best to do this in sections to make sure you get an even colour result.

3. Leave the Alchemic Conditioner on your hair for up-to 20-30 mins.

4. Rinse your hair thoroughly and blow-dry to your finished style as normal - there is no need to shampoo the product out.

How long can you expect the colour to last?
7-10 washes and after each wash if fades out gradually so you experience a variety of shades over the weeks.

How is it best to maintain the colour?
To maintain the colour is easy, every 7-10 washes apply the colour again leave on for 20 mins and rinse!

What colours of the Conditioners will give what results?
You are going to get the best results on blonde hair if you’re looking for a bright result. The Copper coloured conditioner on blonde hair would be a great orange tone and the Red conditioner will give a great pink tone you can see in the pictures. You can also try various application variations like just on the ends of underneath for a more punky feel!
