Joe’s boutique salon concept was born when he realised there was a need for a hairdressers that offers an alternative to some of the more ‘traditional’ salons in the West End. The result was a successful unisex hairdresser’s with an unpretentious, laid back vibe coupled with extra friendly staff. This combination was immediately a hit and The Lounge Soho was soon hosting parties of its own in venues around town along side a dedicated magazine. A loyal following developed and clients on the club scene include Tim Westwood (Radio 1), Tall Paul, John Digweed, Andy Morris (Kiss FM) and the Plump DJ’s to name a few.
Joe’s relaxed but professional attitude has continued to help the Soho salon to remain a firm favorite with busy local clientele. The salon interior reflects further the uniqueness of the space by maintaining an urban feel with contemporary styling that has been featured in many a style bible. On the ground floor a wall of mirrors with a row of pendant lampshades combined with design classic furniture help to define the lounging feel. While in the basement concrete floors, a steel staircase, exposed ducting and a unique mirrored colour dispensary give the salon a serious edge.
The Lounge Soho also does it's best to be an environmentally responsible hair salon. Wherever possible, we try to use energy efficient light bulbs, minimize our energy consumption as well as recycle all paper and glass bottles we use.
